Marko Vrdoljak was born in 1973 in Zagreb. As the owner of Five Stars Ltd. company, he has been collaborating with many ministries, governmental offices, embassies and cultural institutions in promoting the beauties of Croatia for over ten years.
He has published the following photographic monographies: "Zagreb County", "Brijuni National Park", "Amazing Croatia", "Nerezine", "Risnjak National Park", "Zagreb" and "Lošinj Archipelago". He is currently working on new photographic and film projects.
Vrdoljak’s photographic work has also been acknowledged by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, which has signed a contract with the author for three exhibitions entitled: "Amazing Croatia 1", "Amazing Croatia 2" and "Blue – green Croatia" comprising 126 photographs of all parts of Croatia that represent its beauties to the world.
Vrdoljak’s photograph "Sheep Paradise", taken in Lika, was chosen as the cover photo for the 50th issue of DigitalFoto Magazine, which became the first cover featuring the work of a Croatian photographer.
Vrdoljak, along with other prizes and honors awarded and prestigious professional award "Tošo Dabac" for the great contribution to the promotion of art photography and photographic art in Croatia in 2012. In addition to his photographic work, Vrdoljak is rewarded in film creativity in which he made the award-winning film "Pulse of the City - Zagreb".
He has presented his work in hundreds of exhibitions held in Croatia, USA, Canada, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, Ukraine, Czech republic, Belgium, Latvia ...
